A CHARLOTTE INSTITUTION

Paper Skyscraper is more than a store.

For more than thirty years Paper Skyscraper has been hanging out in the historic Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte, growing from a small space to 5000 square feet of unique gifts ranging from home goods, books, stationery and beyond.

Paper Skyscraper is an environment designed to surprise and delight. It is a gathering place for Charlotte's creative community, a place where friends cross paths with friends and where you proudly bring out-of-towners to show what Charlotte has to offer.

It is a comfortable, friendly space where you are likely to leave with a bag of goodies and guaranteed to leave with a smile.

DILWORTH HISTORY

From “Dilworth: The First 100 Years”  – “Until 1890, Dilworth was just an unnamed field and fairgrounds, part of the country-side outside of the small but ambitious city of Charlotte.  The entrepreneur Edward Dilworth Latta and his partners transformed it into a model suburban streetcar resort with gracious homes and amenities to please residents and attract visitors.”

At its heart is East Blvd., upon which Paper Skyscraper sits today.
