HEALTH & SAFETY 

From the moment we first opened our doors in 1989, Paper Skyscraper has always had health and safety as a top priority and consideration.

In light of COVID-19, we’ve sought to further enhance those policies and procedures, as well as publish them for all to read and parse through before visiting our store.

Staff

Our staff members are required to wear masks at all times and wash their hands frequently.

We are, as always, asking employees feeling unwell to remain home and backing this up with a comprehensive paid time-off policy to ensure there’s no concern over job security in doing so. Our staff is taking COVID-19 seriously outside of work as well with regards to social distancing.

Store

We are operating the store at 25% of legal capacity to maintain a safe and comfortable shopping experience, and are continuing our normal hours: Monday through Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.

Beginning November 2nd our hours will change to 9am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and Noon to 6pm on Sundays.  These expanded hours will allow for our customers to social distance and have a comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience. We’ll be controlling the overlap in team members to ensure we can keep a close check on wellness and exposure.  

Surfaces and doors will be cleaned with extreme frequency throughout the day, and a member of staff will be stationed to ensure social distancing is observed. 

Visitors

Along with limiting capacity to 25% of the state mandate, we have installed the Reme-Halo air purification system, which sanitizes every surface that air touches. According to multiple studies, the Reme-Halo reaches 80% sanitization in 3 hours and 99.99% sanitation in 24 hours, and kills 99.99% of the germs in an uncovered sneeze before it reaches 3 feet. Nonetheless, we’ve also modified the layout of the store to maximize distancing.

Sanitization stations and disposable masks are made available to all visitors, as well as improved contactless soap and towel dispensers in our bathroom.

Are masks required for customers?

We highly encourage our customers to wear masks.

We have free disposable masks in-store, if needed.

I’m not sure I want to shop in-store. What are my other options to shop Paper Skyscraper?

It’s a weird time! We understand completely.

You can trust that we’re striving to offer a safe and clean in-store experience, but if you’re uncomfortable, you are also able to shop our selection on our website or through Instagram. Most products are available for free domestic shipping on orders over $100 or curbside pickup.

What happens if the local health situation worsens?

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to act accordingly to ensure everyone’s safety.
